 How Does the FHA Approval Process Begin?


  • Contact us directly at info@fhaapprovals or (657) 233-7741 or go directly to the Questionnaire page on our website and complete the short questionnaire.
  • Once we have reviewed your questionnaire results we will advise you if the project meets minimum HUD requirements for approval.
  • You will then receive a contract to proceed. Once we receive the signed contract, you will receive a comprehensive checklist outlining the information and required documentation needed for submission.
  • We will review, compile and prepare all the information provided and submit the package to HUD. We will apprise you of the status throughout the review process.

How Long Does it Take?


  • New Approvals can up to 4-6 weeks, however many of our submissions have received a decision in as little as 2-4 weeks and sometimes sooner. Projects that require additional requested information and documentation can take more time.
  • Recertifications typically take less time in the review process. Depending on the case load, the review process can take 1-3 weeks, however many of our submission packages received decisions in as little as 5-7 business days once HUD uploads the project and begins the review process.

What if the Project is Rejected?


  • HUD may reject a project for many reasons. Many of the rejections are based on additional information needed or clarification of submitted documentation. We do a thorough review of all the information prior to submitting to reduce any risks of rejection, however, should a project be rejected, we will make every effort to resolve the issue and reverse the decision.
